Our Approach to Teaching
Establish your targets.
The first step on your path towards perfect English is to meet with us, in person or online, to discuss your wants and needs. Together we can decide the best way in which we can help you to realise your targets. Initial consultation is free of charge and with no commitment.
Based upon that, and a level test we will provide you with, we will then create a specific plan for you and your classes.
Focused, deliberate, consistent practice.
Lots of people will tell you that 'practice makes perfect' but that's not really true, without proper guidance 'practice only makes permanent'.
The key to perfection is focused and deliberate practice with specific objectives in place which are measured over time.
Every 6 months students and teachers meet to assess progress, and to make any changes to the plan that student and teacher agree are necessary.
Achieve your goals.
Whatever your final goal is, whether that be to improve your English for work, to pass an exam, to get a new job, or just to perfect your English; we will work just as hard as you do to help you achieve it in the shortest time possible.
Nothing makes us happier than seeing our students progress and then fulfil their potential.
- Classes are available both in person and online. Classes to businesses available in their place of work. Private classes taught in our own classroom.
- We believe that we all learn most whilst having fun. Our classes, whether they be in person or online, are designed to be both fun and educational.
- Classes are specific to each learner or group, where possible incorporating the most recent English from your respective fields.
- We have experience teaching the specific vocabularies of various aspects of the law, design, education, human resources, finance, and sales.
- Every class will involve some aspect of each of the four key skills in speaking any language: speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- We make ourselves available to answer any queries or doubts you may have in your English, and provide a response in the same working day.
- We aim to always make use of the most up-to-date technologies and tools, and the most current learning methodologies.
- Where possible our classes use digital media rather than paper, but when and where paper is necessary it is all 100% recycled.
- All materials are provided. All you need to bring to class is your enthusiasm to learn.
- We offset our carbon footprint, recycle, and work in the most sustainable ways for all of our futures.
